The Edgewood Rams and the Joppatowne Mariners battled on the mat, Wednesday, and it resulted in a 51-27 victory for the Rams.
While Edgewood received six forfeits in the match, it also produced a decision win from 140-pound Cortez Neal, and two falls from Aaron Dridsom and Antwan McKisset at 145 and 215, respectively.
The Mariners, putting all forfeits aside, won more matches than the Rams, earning pins with 130-pound Eric Sanders, 171-pound David Volz, 189-pounder Thaine Martin and Jamari Garris at heavyweight to end the night.
Tyree Gibson (125) was the other Joppatowne victor, earning a decision.
Joppatowne will next wrestle Perryville on Dec. 15, whil the Rams will take to this weekend’s Parkville Knightmare Classic.
