Of the four weightblasses contested in Edgewood’s Wednesday romp with Havre de Grace, the Warriors won three of the bouts but dropped the team win to the Rams on forfeits, 39-33.
With five forfeits to the Warriors’ three, the Rams needed just one win from Drisdom at 152 to pull out the team victory, Wenesday, seeing the wrestler edge his opponent in a 10-9 decision.
Havre de Grace had three individual winners on the day, as Peters took a decision ay 135, and Blount and Vancerie earned falls at 189 and 285, respectively.
Havre de Grace’s next match-up comes Jan. 5, heading to Elkton, while Edgewood will face Harford Tech on Dec. 30.
