Fifty minutes wasn’t enough to settle the score between the Edgewood Rams and the Harford Tech Cobras, Thursday, as the two girls’ lacrosse teams battled into overtime with the Rams emerging victorious, 13-12.

Leading at the half, 5-3, the Rams were led by seven-goal scorer Rebecca Conte, but the Cobras were able to rebound in the second half and capture eight goals to tie the game at the buzzer, 11-11, before Edgewood hit the final score.

Jen Miller added four goals to the Rams’ score, along with single-goal scorers Natalee Olah and Shytera Byrd, while Precious Hunte held down 13 saves in the net.

Megan Campbell had four goals for the Cobras, teamed up with Marissa Braungart’s three goals and Gabby Spalt’s two goals and three assists.

Brooke Fullem, Morgan Grannas, and Sydney Tudor all had single goals on the game, with goalie Juliet Lloyd making fifteen saves.
