Randallstown comes from 20 down to edge Kenwood; Issacs scores 17

Cameron Issacs scored 17 points and Keshawn Ennals added 16 as Randallstown High defeated Kenwood, 69-68, in a Baltimore County Division II boys’ basketball contest Friday.

The Rams (8-4 overall, 4-1 Division II) converted a free throw with 15 seconds left in regulation and came up with a steal with three seconds left, completing a 20-point second half comeback. Senior Ryzshaud Thornton finished with 15 points for Randallstown.

Pharaoh Walker had 21 points for Kenwood, which scored the first 14 points of the game and led, 20-8, after the opening period. The Stemmers Run Road school had a 11-point halftime advantage before extended it to 20 in the third.

The Rams stormed back, claiming a four-point lead with two minutes left in regulation. Kenwood tied it with 20 seconds remaining, but Randallstown got a free throw and steal in the final 15 seconds.

Dayejon Harris had 16 points for Kenwood (8-7, 3-3), and Donnell Loud added 15. Kenwood hosts Chesapeake-Baltimore County in Division II action Tuesday while Randallstown is at Carver A&T in a non-divisional match.
