Playoffs resume on Wednesday; Bryn Mawr enters at No. 17
There was very little movement in the VSN Field Hockey Top 20 this week after a light schedule between the end of the regular season and the meat of the playoff schedule.
All of the teams in our poll who are still alive in the post-season will be in action Wednesday as the state playoffs resume with regional finals and the IAAM tournaments move to the quarterfinal round.
Last week’s Top 5, led by No. 1 Archbishop Spalding is unchanged. The Cavaliers are followed by No. 2 Liberty, No. 3 McDonogh, No. 4 Garrison Forest and No. 5 Severna Park.
Bryn Mawr of the IAAM B Conference is the only newcomer this week, as the Mawrtians debut in the poll at No. 17.
