by Derek Toney
One of the biggest events on the summer lacrosse circuit, the Under Armour All-American weekend, begins Thursday.
The festivities start with the boys and girls Underclass Games in Howard County. There will be two divisions, Command and Highlight, with a Baltimore area squad in each.
The Baltimore teams will play squads from New Jersey, the West Coast (West) and Connecticut (CONNY) in pool play. The District, New York’s Long Island, Upstate New York, Philadelphia, New England region, and teams from the Midwest, South and Southwest region will also participate.
Girls pool play, opening round and semifinal matches will be played at Blandair Park in Columbia while Troy Park in Elkridge will host the boys tournament.
