Alex Price received a drop pass from Katie Kanner and scored the game-winning goal in the first overtime period to lead the Marriotts Ridge High School girls soccer team in a 2-1 victory over visiting Reservoir in a Howard County match-up Friday.

MRHS improved to 7-1-1 overall, 5-1 in the county while Reservoir fell to 7-2-1, 5-1-1.

Price set Maxine Brewer for the first goal on a corner kick to give her team a 1-0 lead at halftime. Brewer slammed the ball home with a header in the 20th minute.

M. Jackson knotted the score for Reservoir in the second half before the match went into extra periods.
