The Baltimore Poly Engineers were neck and neck with the Patterson Clippers, Wednesday, with a tight score of 31-33, but back-to-back falls to end the match would see the Engineers over the Clippers, 43-33.

Trailing by two team-points going into the final two matches, Davenport and Gelvar each recorded falls at 103 and 112, respectively, to pull out the come-from-behind victory over Patterson in a match that was tight the whole way through.

Neither team held more than a nine-point lead during the dual meet, which was tied three times and saw five lead changes.

In the win, Poly saw arms raised by Lyons (125), Gordon (140), Brown (145), Pinkney (152), Chase (189) and Iniunam (215), adding to the final two winners Davenport and Gelvar for the team win.

Patterson has winners in Morrison (119), Patterson (130), Rob Sewell (135), Winston (160), Walker (171) and Anderson (285).

Poly also recorded a win over Digital Harbor in the tri-meet, 51-28.

Poly will takes its win into its next match, Fen. 2, facing Carver and Overlea, while Patterson wrestles Southwester and Southside, Jan. 26.
