Owings Mills may have taken the Baltimore County wrestling title last year, but there are a number of teams that hope to take it right back, including the 2010-2011 Sparrows Point Pointers.
Returning eight wrestlers and welcoming two transfers, the Pointers look to seniors Cody Lewis and Andrew Clark to be leaders on the team. Clark has amounted 81 wins and is a regional champ and state placer in his time with Sparrows Point, as Lewis enters the season with 70 wins and will look to join the 100-win club.
Other notable returning wrestlers include Tony Collurafici, winning 24 matches in his freshman season, juniors Shane Hammer and Nathan Borkowicz, both three-year starters for the Pointers, and senior four-year starter Mike Iman.
The Pointers received transfers Teddy Cadd from Eastern Tech, and Zak Morton from the very tough Southern Garrett.
