With first place on the line in the Susquehanna Divisiion of the UCBAC, Perryville turned in a brilliant defensive effort and knocked off previously unbeaten Bo Manor, 7-0, Friday night in Cecil County.
Colby Owen had the game’s only touchdown, as he crashed pay-dirt on a four-yard run and the Panthers improved to 4-1 in the division and 5-3 overall.
Owen combined with Gabe Sherrod and Joe Peaker to ground out 104 tough yards on the ground. Bo Manor’s Madison Neddo led all rushers with 65 yards.
Bo Manor is now 3-1 in the division and 7-1 overall.
