A pair of 1-0 squads in the Baltimore County 3A/4A league meets up. After falling behind 14-0 to Parkville last weekend, Perry Hall (3-1 overall) stormed back for a 23-14 decision.

Patrick Clemons, a junior transfer from Calvert Hall, rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns, including a 48-yard scamper in the fourth quarter to help the Gators pull away. Perry Hall’s defense picked off Parkville quarterback Omari Timmons five times.

Kenwood (2-2) rebounded from a week three 57-12 pounding at the hands of Eastern Tech with a 44-7 romp over Dulaney last Saturday. Senior quarterback Kenny Johnson had 268 total offensive yards and accounted for three touchdowns.

Jaime Nixon-Alark (57 yards), Mike Caldwell (60 yards receiving) and sophomore Keith Moody found the end zone for the Bluebirds. Senior linebacker Mike Quirk had seven tackles to lead the defense.

Perry Hall won last year’s meeting over Kenwood, 28-17. The Bluebirds held a 17-14 in the third quarter before a pair of Davonta Farrell’s touchdowns, including a 48-yard run, changed momentum.
