Josh Wilson and Deonte Alston each scored three goals and Chase Tallon scored twice, leading Patterson Mill High past Southern, 12-5, in a Class 2A/1A North Region boys’ lacrosse quarterfinal match in Harford County Friday. The Huskies, the No. 4 seed, opened a 9-3 halftime advantage on the Anne Arundel County squad as Chase Wedekind scored a goal and handed out three assists.
Ethan Aikin tallied two goals and assisted on another for Southern, and Max Johnson had a goal and an assist. Dylan Frazer also scored.
The Huskies will play the winner of the Owings Mills/Western Tech Monday in the region semifinals. Owings Mills, the top seed, host Western Tech Saturday at 2 p.m.
