Huskies roll through Havre de Grace, 14-1

The Patterson Mill softball team improved to 7-0 on Tuesday, routing Havred de Grace, 14-1, in UCBAC Susquehanna Division game, that lasted just five innings.

Dakota Pitts went the distance for the Huskies, giving up one earned run on just two hits, with no walks and 14 strikeouts.

Havre De Grace’s run came on a double by Emily Curry and an RBI single by Sara Crawford. Patterson Mill’s 14 runs were highlighted by a huge day at the plate by Maddie Buher who went 3-for-3 with a double and a triple, a run scored and 6 RBIs.

Sarah DiNatale and Mackenzie Horton both went 2-for-3. DiNatale hit a triple and scored twice while Horton scored a run and drove in one. Pitts was 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI’s and Katie Keech went 1-for-2 with a walk and scored all three times at bat.

Patterson Mill is 5-0 in the league and in first place. Havre de Grace slipped to 2-6 overall and 2-4 in the league.
