Marissa Lapinsky’s Golden Goal, in overtime, lifted host and 9th-ranked Patterson Mill to a 4-3 victory over UCBAC rival C. Miltion Wright, Monday night in Bel Air.
Kaley Thompson scored just 38 seconds into the contest to put Patterson Mill on top, but the Mustangs came right back and scored 36 seconds later, as Caroline Mang got on the board.
The team’s would go on to combine for five goals in less than nine minutes of play, with the Huskies ahead 3-2. It stayed that until late in the second half when CMW finally for the equalizer to force OT.
Summer Law had a goal and an assist for Patterson Mill, while Bethany Bruck also scored and the Huskies also got assists from Kate Eckart and Katie Wysong.
Jordan Landsman and Bayleigh Willinger both added goals for C. Milton Wright and Lindsey Stevenson had an assist.
