Frostburg State University junior cross country runner Anne Patron has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Female Runner of the Week, after she led the conference at last week’s Don Cathcart Invitational at Salisbury University.
Patron finished seventh in the event, posting a time of 22:33 for her second top ten finish of the season.
Last fall the former Dulaney Lion finished fourth at the AMCC championships and earned All-AMCC honors. At Dulaney she won 11 varsity letters, including four each in soccer and indoor track. She also had two letters in outdoor track and one in softball.
