On Friday afternoon, the Patapsco girls varsity lacrosse team moved their season record to 2-0 with an exciting, 14-12, victory over Carver A&T at Meadowood Regional Park.
The Patriots were led on offense by senior Nikkie Fries, who finished 12 scoring opportunities, and now has an amazing 19 goals in just two games.
Senior Sarah Grochowski and junior Kendall Merritt each chipped in one goal. Freshman goalies Savannah Clough and Kelsey Hundt were able to protect a slender lead, and help the Patriots edge the Wildcats.
