Park School went on the road Wednesday afternoon for an IAAM A Conference tennis match with Notre Dame Prep and returned home with a 4-1 victory.

The Bruins swept both singles matches in straight sets as No. 1 Juliet Eisenstein defeated NDP’s Casey O’Neill, 6-4, 6-4, and No. 2 Shira Cohen was a 6-2, 6-2 winner over Maggie McLoughlin.

The doubles matches were all hotly contested.  Park won at No. 1 and No. 2, while NDP prevailed at No. 3.

Elizabeth Kunts and Ashley Suan won in two sets at No. 1, but needed a second set tiebreaker to finish off Helen Heskow and Linday Corrad, 6-3, 7-6 (7-2).  At No. 2, NDP’s Brogan Sheehey and Lexie Wille won the first set, but Chloe Shiras and Adrian Rabin battled back to win 4-6, 6-4, 10-6.

NDP’s Celia Pham and Annie Gallaghe outlasted Julia Kaufman and Andie Hlmmelrich, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) to put the Blazers on the board at No. 3.
