Park stormed out to a big lead in the first quarter and went on to beat host Beth T’filoh in a MIAA C Conference matchup.

Behind Rodney Hill’s 11 and f Michael Ginsberg’s 8 first quarter points, the Bruins jumped out to a 23-12 advantage.

Hill finished with a double-double, scoring a game-high 29 points and pulling down 17 rebounds for Park (8-7 overall, 5-3 league). Ginsberg and Brandon Keiser both added 10 points each.

In the second quarter, the Bruins got into foul trouble and the Warriors were able to cut the lead to five by shooting 7-for-10 from the free throw line.

Park answered in the third, outscoring Beth T’filoh, 19-11, behind Hill’s 7 points.  Six Park players scored in the third quarter.

Last week, the Bruins fell 45-40 to the Warriors at home.

Tani Weissman finished with 12 points, while Adam Venick contributed 13 for Beth T’filoh (11-6, 6-2).
