Rodney Hill missed a triple-double, producing 18 points, 22 rebounds and nine blocked shots as Park School defeated Baltimore Lutheran, 51-33, on Senior Night in Brooklandville.
Mark Rothleitner added 13 points, four assists and three steals for the Bruins, who finished the regular season with a 11-9 overall mark and 8-4 in the MIAA C. Park will be either No. 2 seed or No. 3 seed for next week’s conference tournament.
In front of a packed Senior Night crowd, Lutheran jumped out to a quick lead behind Griffin Pararas’ nine first-quarter points. Rodney Hill, playing his final regular season home match, scored all eight Park’s points.
The momentum changed in second quarter as six players scored, pushing Park to a 21-10 output for a 29-23 halftime lead. After close third, Park held Lutheran to three fourth quarter points with Hill blocking four shots.
