Park and Chapelgate tie in C Conference battle

Lydia Fierson and Laura Lovaas scored late second half goals to help Chapelgate Christian draw even and tie visiting Park, 2-2, on Friday afternoon.

Freshman Sara Lessans scored a first half goal and sophomore Zoe Sellman added another in the second to give the Bruins a two-goal lead before the Yellow Jackets tied the game.

Park (3-1-1 overall, 2-0-1 IAAM C) was led on defense by senior Lauren Sibel, junior Emily King and senior Aiden. Junior goalie Arianna Strome had a stop on a penalty kick to go with her 15 saves.

Chapelgate Christian moved to 2-1-2 and 1-0-1 respectively.
