St. Frances improves to 2-0 in BCL play; Jones and Baldwin lead way (VIDEO HERE!)

Adrian Baldwin (left) recorded a double-double: 13 points and 10 assists and senior Rajier Jones finished with 13 as St. Frances Academy continued its hot start Wednesday with an easy victory over John Carroll School in a Baltimore Catholic League match in Baltimore City.

Junior guard Adrian Baldwin finished with 13 points, 10 assists and seven steals and Chicago State University commit Rajier Jones had 13 points and five rebounds as St. Frances Academy defeated John Carroll School, 89-42, in a Baltimore Catholic League contest in east Baltimore Wednesday evening.

Jamal West added 12 points and a team-best six rebounds for the reigning BCL champ Panthers (3-0 overall, 2-0 BCL), who led 42-24 at halftime before ballooning the advantage to 69-49 after three periods. Junior guard Jordan Toles had 10 points and two steals.

Tyson Commander finished with a game-high 16 points for John Carroll (0-2, 0-2 BCL). The Patriots host Calvert Hall College in BCL action.

St. Frances travels to Archbishop Spalding for a BCL match Friday evening. Saturday, the Panthers play Paul VI (VA) in the second annual BCL/WCAC Challenge at DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville.
