Delonte Joyce had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Domico James scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as No. 15 Annapolis defeated host Meade, 80-51, in an Anne Arundel County league contest Tuesday evening.
The Panthers (8-1 overall, 3-1 Anne Arundel) rolled up 50 points over the final two quarters to post their sixth consecutive victory. Tajuan Watson had another exceptional game controlling the pace for the Panthers dishing out eight assists to go along with 12 points.
Paul Blackmon led all scorers with 19 points for Meade (4-6, 0-4), and Aaron Brown contributed 15. The Mustangs host Northeast Friday evening in league action while Annapolis travels to Arundel for a 6:45 p.m. date.
