St. Vincent Pallotti rising senior basketball player Chizzy Ekedigwe has made a verbal commitment to play college basketball for Seton Hall University, according to Panthers head coach Josh Pratt.
Ekedigwe, a 6-foot-4 center, averaged 8.3 points and 10 rebounds, as well as 3.4 blocks per game as a junior last season.
After a slow start, Pallotti rolled to a 16-8 record in 2009 and the Panters went 12-4 in the IAAM B Conference. Ekedigwe is a star on the Pallotti volleyball team.
