St. Vincent Pallotti, which will open its IAAM A Conference volleyball playoff bid on Friday at Chapelgate Christian, broke a four match losing streak, on Wednesday with a 3-1 non-conference win over the Institute of Notre Dame.

Pallotti led IND by just one point (12-11) in the opening game, but got a lift from Carissa Hill, who won 11 consecutive points, including six aces to propel the Panthers to a 25-13 win.  IND bounced back to win game two, 25-18, but Pallotti closed out the victory with scores of 25-22 and 25-17.

Hill finished the night with a total of eight aces.  In addition, Victoria Johnson had 13 kills, while Judy Onyegbado had eight kills and four aces.
