The seniors on St. Vincent Pallotti were ready to take on St. Timothy’s on Friday night because those seniors did not want to be shut out against their IAAM C Conference rivals.

The visiting Panthers prevailed behind two goals by Chelsea Ofili and another by team captain Gaby Romero to claim a 3-0 victory on Friday in Stevenson.

“The team is extremely excited because they have never beaten St. Timothy’s before, and they feel a 3-0 shut out is a good indication of how hard we have worked and how the season will go as well,” said Panthers head coach Liz Fritz.

Pallotti’s defense, led Deanna Moya, Delia Kenny, and captain Anni Whetzel, kept St. Tim’s off balance. Goalkeeper Amanda Maloney had one save. On offense, Jill Pavalacka and Caroline Harvey each had an assist.
