Jackson Souder went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI and Corey Dirks pitched a complete game five-hitter as St. Vincent Pallotti High baseball team defeated Loch Raven, 7-2, in a non-league contest. Johnny Maloney drove in a run with a double, scored twice and stole two bases for the Laurel private school.
Dirks gave up an earned run and struck out five in an 89-pitch performance. Nate Spicher, Matt DeFrank and Ryan Basile each had a hit and score a run for Pallotti (8-1 overall).
Pallotti hosts St. Mary’s Monday afternoon at Panther Park in Laurel in a MIAA B Conference contest. Loch Raven (0-6) hosts Overlea Tuesday in a Baltimore County league match.
