Chelsea Owensby set the tone with 36 assists to power No. 3 Mount de Sales’ volleyball team over Notre Dame Prep, 25-22, 25-14, 25-18 on Friday.
Hannah Schmidt had 11 kills and nine digs for the Sailors. Taylor Beaumont also had 11 kills and added five digs while both Caroline Casey and Jodi Schneider contributed six kills each.
Mount de Sales moved to 10-1 overall and 8-0 in the IAAM A Conference. The Sailors will travel to St. Mary’s on Monday to finish the conference regular season before hosting Covenant Christian on Tuesday.
