Judy Onyegbado tallied 10 kills and four aces to lead the St. Vincent Pallotti girls volleyball team in a 25-16, 25-12, 25-23 victory over visiting St. Mary’s in a IAAM A Conference game Monday.

Pallotti improved to 7-7 overall and picked up their first confernece win. The Saints fell to 1-7, 0-5.

St. Mary’s opened the first set on a 12-7 run but Pallotti scored 13 straight points with setter Emily Faulkner serving and Onyegbado in the front row.

In the second set, the Panthers expanded a 12-9 lead to 19-9, but they couldn’t accomplish the same feat in the third set, which was close throughout.

In junior-varsity action, Pallotti won 25-15, 25-14.
