Jasmine Hill scored a game-high 22 points and Patrice Jones added 14 points, leading Oakland Mills High to a 57-40 victory over Long Reach in a Howard County girls’ basketball contest Friday evening.
The Scorpions (9-3, 7-2 Howard) opened a 31-19 halftime advantage then extended it to 45-29 after three quarters. Olivia Callan led Long Reach (4-8, 2-7 Howard) with 12 points, and Imani Sanders finished with 11.
The Scorpions host Wilde Lake Wednesday in league action while Long Reach travels to Atholton Friday.
