Greaver goes 5-for-5 in Hawks’ season-opening win


The North Harford softball team got off to an offensive start to its 2019 season, Monday, pounding out a 16-4 UCBAC win over Havre de Grace, on the road.

Madison Greaver was the start of the Hawks, going 5-for-5 with three RBI’s and four runs scored. Greaver had a pair of doubles and a triple among her collection of base hits.

Tonya Marks also doubled twice and drove in three runs and she scored three as well, while Danielle Beck was 3-for-5 with three RIB’s and two runs scored. In addition, Hannah Garrett was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI’s and Lila Murray was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.

Becker also was in the circle for North Harford, going all seven innings and striking out six, while scattering eight hits and allowing four runs (3 earned).
