North Harford, the top seed in Section I of the 2A East Girls Lacrosse Regional, opened its playoff drive Friday, in a driving rain, with a 16-6 win over visiting Harford Tech in Pylesville.

The Hawks got production from several players with Lauryn Warfield and Brenna Duley leading the way. Warfield scored 4 goals and dished out two assists, while Duley delivered three goals and an assist.

Casey Diventi also had big day with two goals and two assists, while Lily Macatee and Rachel Keeney each scored twice for North Harford. Contributing single goals were Anna Raciine, Tori Gay and Meridith Price. Hannah Smith also added an assist.

Harford Tech’s Molly Re was the game’s top scorer with five goals. Unfortunately for the Cobras, she did not get much help. Kellyann Coccio scored the only other goal for Harford Tech.
