Demery throws for two second quarter scores to spark the Indians

Trailing 7-6 after the first quarter, No. 6 Franklin stormed to a 19-7 halftime lead and rolled to a 34-13 win over Baltimore County rival Perry Hall, Friday at Franklin.
The Indians rallied thanks to a pair of second quarter touchdown passes by quarterback Quentin Demery. The first went to Gavin Nelson and the second was caught by Mekhi Workman.
After the Indians extended their lead to 27 with a rushing touchdown, Workman added a 50-yard punt return for a score to extend Franklin’s lead to 34-7.
Perry Hall got a little closer with a 1-yard rushing touchdown by Jared Moore, midway through the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late.
