The No. 9 C. Milton Wright Mustangs were able to close a big win, Monday, scoring in the final two innings to break a 5-5 tie and score the 8-8 win over the Harford Tech Cobras.
Scoring five runs in the fourth inning, the Mustangs bounced back from a two-run deficit set in the first inning, only to see the Cobras tie the game with three runs in the fifth, 5-5.
Caspero, Adams, Williams all went two-for-three for the Mustangs, with Williams blasting a two-run homer in the fourth and Clow lacing a double in his two-for-four performance.
Stallings was one-for-four with a solo homer in the lead-off spot in the seventh, helping Martin earn the complete-game win.
Martin pitched seven innings for the Mustangs, striking out seven Cobra batters.
The Cobras were led by Dre Jones and a two-RBI single in the first, and Jake Bright in his three-for-three performance from the plate.
John Lacomb went two-for-three with a big two-RBI double in the fifth for Tech.
C. Milton’s next game comes against Elkton, Wednesday, while Harford Tech heads to No. 18 Fallston.
