When: Friday, 6

Where: Mervo H.S.

Outlook: No. 7 Poly is averaging 50 points per game in its first three contests, wins over Largo, Mervo and Lake Clifton.

Running backs Gabriel Ali-El (six touchdowns) Dexter Davis (five touchdowns) have been terrorizing opposing teams on the ground for the Engineers.  Last week against the Lakers, Ali-El and Jamal Chappell both found the end zone twice in a 48-6 victory. (Game story)

Last week, No. 14 Patterson wiped Southwestern out, 52-0, a week after defeating Division I champion Dunbar, 32-20.  Poly tied the Poets for City champs last season and the Clippers, led by Aaron Overton, are looking to knock off the Engineers and take a big step toward claiming their own title.

In 2009, Poly blew out Patterson, 38-18.
