Senior quarterback produces 324 total yards and three TD’s
Coming off a lopsided loss against Archbishop Spalding in its opener last week, No. 7 Broadneck got on track and in the win column, Friday, as the Bruins bounced back with a, 30-13, Anne Arundel County football win over South River.
The Bruins shined behind the play of senior quarterback Josh Ehrlich who passed for 220 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 104 yards and a score.
Broadneck led 6-0 after one quarter as Erlich complete a 35-yard touchdown pass to Eli Harris. In the second quarter, Ehrlich struck paydirt again with a 9-yard toss to Kyle Pearce. Ryan Della added a 26-yard field goal and the Bruins led 23-0 at the half.
Broadneck added two more touchdowns in the third quarter, with Davion White sowing on a 6-yard run and Ehrlich sprinting for a 29-yard score.
White rushed for 43 yards in the game, while Machi Evans caught 5 passes for 76 yards. Harris also had 5 catches for 70 yards and Pierce caught 4 balls for 52 yards.
