Milani leads the Crusaders with a hat-trick
No. 3 St. Paul’s continued its outstanding 2019 lacrosse season, Tuesday afternoon in Severna Park, as the Crusaders defeated host Archbishop Spalding, 12-5.
The Crusaders broke a 2-2 after one quarter, as Tyler Harry scored once and Andrew Milani had two of his three goals on the afternoon to push St. Paul’s in front 5-2. After Spalding’s third goal, Logan Santos and Noah Chizmar went back-to-back to send the Crusaders to the half with an 7-3 lead.
Santos and Harry each went on to score pair of goals and Troy Barthelme had two goals and two assists. Seth Higgins had a goal and an assist and Peter Sheehan had two helpers. Rory Jones also scored for the Crusaders.
St. Paul’s (10-2 overall) is now 6-1 in the conference and tied for second place with No. 2 St. Mary’s, which defeated John Carroll, 14-6, Tuesday night, in the A Conference.
