Mount de Sales’ volleyball team beat IAAM A Conference opponent St. Mary’s, 3-0, Monday in Annapolis.
The visiting No. 3 Sailors improved to 11-1 overall and 9-0 in league play after the three set win, 25-5, 25-6, 25-3. The Saints dropped to 1-12 and 0-9 respectively.
Hannah Schmidt had an all-around game with eight kills, two block kills, five service aces and four digs. Caroline Casey added four kills, four service aces, six digs and a block kill while Chelsea Owensby had 13 assists, eight Service Aces and three digs,
Lily Glenn had eight assists, Megan Sedney accounted for 10 digs and Taylor Beaumont had seven kills and four aces.
Mount de Sales will finish its regular season when it hosts Covenant Christian tonight, Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m.
