Crowing four champions and placing eight wrestlers, the Oakland Mills Scorpions were able to outscore their opponents, Saturday, and take top honors at the 2011 Overlea Invitational.

Being led by champions Tony Farace (112), Zach Hensley (103), Alex DoQuang (152) and Joey Yarn (160), the Scorpions had a fifth finalist in David Ulysse, taking second at 145.

Placing second as a team in the tournament, Dulaney recorded two individual titles in Michael Persinger and Ryan McTeer at 125 and 135, respectively, and had another four place-winners between third and sixth.

Boys’ Latin finished third in the team standings, being without a finalist but placing five wrestlers into the consolation finals and having Michael Floccare, Alex Malinowski and Tyrelle Johnson earn bronze finishes at 130, 135 and 140.
