Boys’ Latin football continues to roll on in the MIAA B Conference, as the Lakers hosted Severn on Thursday and rushed their way to a 47-0 win over the host Admirals.
Behind BL’s outstanding offensive line, senior Brandon Barnes rushed 13 times for 156 yards and two touchdowns, while junior Brandon Cherry rattled off 103 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.
Senior Jeff Chase added an 81 yard kickoff return for a touchdown and also caught a 25 yard TD pass from quarterback Brett Radcliffe. In addition, Ben Pridemore caught three passes for 33 yards and had several nice punt returns.
Sophomore Chris Rubino led the defense, which has allowed just seven points so far this season.
