Danielle Edwards (pictured left) scored 15 points and Brianna Jacobs added 12 as No. 2 McDonogh School defeated Mercy, 59-28, in an IAAM A Conference basketball contest on Northern Parkway Wednesday.

Freshman Andrea Robinson had a career high 10 points for the defending league champ Eagles (14-5 overall, 8-1 IAAM A), who extended their winning streak to eight. Dajah Logan also had 10 poins for the Owings Mills school which remains in a first-place tie with No. 3 Archbishop Spalding with four league games left.

Ilysis Lewis led Mercy (4-13, 0-10 IAAM A) with 10 points. The Magic host Spalding Friday while McDonogh plays at St. Vincent Pallotti.
