Larkin doubles and homers for Cougars

In a makeup of a game postponed earlier this week, the 2nd-ranked Chesapeake-Anne Arundel softball turned away a challenge from Anne Arundel County rival South River to prevail, 11-6, and remain undefeated this season.

Sam Larkin went 3-for-4 to lead the way, hitting a double and a home run. Ali Pollack also homered and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, while Alli Kunes went 2-for-4 with a double and Sophia Bianco went 2-4 with three RBI.

Kendall Thomas pitched 7 innings getting the win for the Cougars (11-0 overall, 9-0 Anne Arundel).

South River (6-3, 6-2 Anne Arundel) was led by Gracie Solarz, who went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. In addition, Erin Tebbe went 3-for4 and Brianna Ford was 2-for-4 for the Seahawks.
