Hunt goes 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI’s

No. 19 Harford Tech Cobras picked up its 11th win of the season, Tuesday, with a 16-2 UCBAC baseball win over visiting Joppatowne.

The Cobra offense had twelve hits in four innings. Leading the way for was Ryan Hunt, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI’s.

Brennen Schneider went 2-for-3 for the Cobras with a stolen base and two RBI’s; while Parker McIlhenney was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI’s and John Riley was 1-for-1 with two walks, a triple and one run driven home.

Jay Rose pitched 3.1 innings to earn the win on the mound for the Cobras. He allowed two runs on four hits, while walking three and striking out five Mariner batters. Austin Utterbaugh pitched a scoreless 1.2 innings, walking one and striking out three.

Kyle Snead drove in the first run for Joppatowne in the top of the third with a single to left. The other run came on a solo home run by McCarthy in the top of the fourth.
