Outlook:  River Hill is back in the Class 3A East Regional title game for the second year in a row, defeating Atholton last season for the championship. Wilde Lake is looking to avenge a loss in the regular season to the Clarksville school.

The Wildecats’ are coming off of a 21-7 win over Atholton, who they lost to in the regular season finale just a week prior.  Senior running back Khalil Vierra rushed for 114 yards, and AJ Harris and EJ Gilman each scored rushing touchdowns for Wilde Lake in the victory.

The top-seeded Hawks easily handled visiting Stephen Decatur, 47-14.  River Hill won its eighth straight league title this season.  Running back Jordan Griffin leads a high-powered rushing attack for the Hawks.

On Oct. 15, River Hill claimed a 21-6 victory over Wilde Lake, eliminating them from contention for the Howard County title.  Junior cornerback Raamah Vaughn was the catalyst for the Hawks, returning an interception 78-yards for a score.
