Driving in 10 runs in the first two innings, the No. 16 Patterson Mill Huskies had now worries in earning their seventh win of 2011, Wednesday, cruising to a 17-3 win over the Joppatowne Mariners.
Patterson Mill added nine runs in the second inning to a one-run first, much to the help of Jimmy Salmone and his two-for-three day, scoring one run and driving in one run with his stick.
Matt Golczewski also helped in the Husky scoring, lacing a two-RBI triple and scoring three times in his time at the plate, and Joe Roman peppered a two-RBI double while scoring twice in assisting Patterson Mill in a five-run third and scoring runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
Sinha got the win for the Huskies, throwing two innings with three strikeouts and allowing hits to just Goode and Epps, both hitting doubles in the game for the Mariners.
Patterson Mill now sits 5-0 in the UCBAC and 7-0 overall, putting its undefeated record on the line when they host Rising Sun, Friday, as Joppatowne takes to Havre de Grace on Monday.
