Fiacco has three key saves to earn a second straight shutout
One evening after the two schools battled on the football field, Bel Air and John Carroll met on the soccer pitch, at Bel Air, and the 15th-ranked Bobcats pulled away in the second half for a 3-0 boys’ soccer victory over the visiting Patriots.
Connor Lorenz scored the first goal, in the opening half. Emre Sipos and Ethan Lassen scored in the second half. Assists were provided by Aurthur Jackson, Lorenz and Sipos.
Jake Fiacco posted his second straight shutout in the Bel Air goal and earned praise from his coach.
“He had three saves on three shots,” said Bel Air coach Dominic Rose. “All three were key saves in the final few minutes to secure the win.”
