Cesar Jove-Vives had 16 points to lead four Glenelg Country players in double-figure scoring as the No. 15 Dragons used a first-half spurt to defeat visiting Severn, 66-50, on Wednesday night for its seventh straight win.

Warren Powers added 15 points, Lawrence Davis contributed 13 and Isaiah Miles had 11 for Glenelg Country (14-2 overall), which remains unbeaten in the MIAA B Conference with an 11-0 mark.

Marc Burton scored a game-high 17 points for the Admirals (4-14, 3-9), including going 10-of-12 from the free-throw line. Colin Rainey added 14 points.

Glenelg Country jumped out to a quick 16-6 advantage after the first quarter and led 31-19 at the half.

The Dragons will be back in action on Thursday when they host Digital Harbor (Baltimore City) in a non-conference match-up.  Severn travels to St. Mary’s on Friday.
