The road has not been so bright for the Bel Air Bobcats, who recently dropped back-to-back matches to No. 3 John Carroll and unranked Perry Hall, but the No. 11 team bounced back to its winning ways, Monday, topping UCBAC foe Fallston, 57-17.
The Bobcats didn’t let the Cougars walk away with many individual wins on the night, dropping just four bouts, but the Cougars were able to claim wins with Harmon and Ambrosich working decisions, and bonus-point wins from Medicas and Austin.
Medicas earned a fall at 103 and Austin manipulated a tech fall at 130.
Bel Air notched seven falls on the night, the fastest coming by Brandon Childress at 140 in just 48 seconds, but other from John Cross (152), William Moore (171), Beveridge (112), Jeff Taylor (119), Tony Proctor (135) and Steve Cross (145).
Bel Air’s next challenge comes against No. 20 Harford Tech, Feb. 2, as Fallston heads to Patterson Mill.
