If a coach sticks around long enough, they will begin to pile up wins.  But not all coaches can lead their program to the kind of record the Owings Mills Eagles hold.

With a 60-9 thumping of No. 17 Sparrows Point, Thursday, Owings Mills coach Guy Pritzker notched his 475th career-win, advancing his standings among the state’s most winningest coaches.

In the 51-point win, the No. 10 Eagles posted nine bonus-point wins, including eight falls and a forfeit, sealing two other decisions for an 11-victory evening.

Wrestlers earning pins were Rendelman (106 pounds), Dardick (120), Grossman (126), Shapiro (132), Hazel (145), Carr (160), Shade (195) and Barnes (220), adding a forfeit win to Carroll at heavyweight for a 54-point score.  Bekar (113) and 152-pound Johnson added decisions to round out the Eagles’ 60 team-points.

Sparrows Point, coming off a Tuesday loss to Hereford, won three bouts on the night, seeing decisions from Underwood (140), Borkowitz (170) and Krud (182).

As for Pritzker’s leadership, his 475 wins are against just 59 losses in his multi-decade career.  His team, leading Baltimore County, now prepares to travel to Franklin, Thursday.
