No one likes to win by forfeits, but a win is a win and the New Town Titans earned their latest win, Thursday, beating the Dundalk Owls, 45-27.
Taking 18 points by forfeit, the Titans also earned six-point wins by pinning four of their opponents, seeing falls from R. Churchill (135), J. Wolford (140), Malik Jones (152) and Shepard (215), while G. Clark was the final Titan winner with a decision at 171.
Dundalk matched their opponent with five bout-wins, walking away from the meet with four falls and a decision.
Owl pinners include Blake Mason (103), Alfred Martinez (125), Dustin Luckart (145) and Kyle Byrd (189), with Wayne Maddox pulling down the 12-6 decision at heavyweight.
The Titans will take their latest win into the Knightmare Classic Tournament at Parkville this weekend, while Dundalk will look forward to facing Carver A&T on Tuesday.
