Becoming the first baseball player from Digital Harbor to sign a National Letter of Intent with a Division I program, Nathan Pitts signed on the dotted line, Wednesday, with Coppin State University, in a ceremony at the school.
“This is a huge thing for our athletic department, as well as the baseball program,” said Digital Harbor athletic director Lisa Martin. “Nathan is the first baseball player to go on scholarship and our first D1 scholarship.”
